Today I woke up and felt like I was hungover, but I’m not. No alcohol was consumed whatsoever last night, or within the past week for that matter. What the F!
Instead of wallowing in my self-pity about how I feel like crap for no reason other than maybe still being sick or something… I’m going to do a gratitude list.
Today, I am grateful for:
- Bulletproof coffee
- Blue Light blocking glasses
- New plants
- Inspiring and fun co-workers
- Health Insurance
- Piper, my cat
- A surprise $500 Amazon gift card
- A fridge and pantry filled and waiting for me to concoct something nourishing and delicious for dinner
Life is pretty damn good, so I won’t let this feeling get me down.
I’m just going to take this as a sign of a bad night’s sleep, up my vitamins and supplements (ie: Elderberry, Oil of Oregano, Apple Cider Vinegar, Ginger, Garlic Goldenseal, Echinacea, and “Wellness Formula”), eat a nourishing dinner, do some yoga/light movement, and go to bed early. Sometimes, that’s all we can do. Listen to your body, accept it, and try to nourish it and love it as much as your little heart can stand. Tomorrow is another day.
